Dr. Hill‐Silcott’s social justice and advocacy interests centers on how marginalized groups of people make meaning of injustices in their daily lives. Her work is situated in mental health counseling where she researches inequalities, mental health disparities, resilience, and coping. Dr. Hill‐Silcott’s interdisciplinary research interest includes cultural competence, mental health promotion, and social change agency to decrease the gaps in health disparity.
