Summary

Dr. Llewellyn Cornelius discusses the involvement of youth in the Civil Rights’ Movement. He discusses the formation of organizations led by young adults as well as the significance of children in primary grades’ participation which led to national recognition and change. He also reveals ways that youth in our world today can make a difference with the aid of Associate Producer Jessica Smith. In addition, resources for individuals wishing to further their understanding of this time period and work towards change regardless of age are also provided.
